Gujarat: New vernacular website launched
Ahmedabad, Sept. 3. (PTI): Indiainfo.com, a premier multi-lingual portal on India and its people, yesterday launched a Gujarati language channel, `Gujarati.indiainfo.com,' jointly with Indiaaboard.com.
This is the portal's sixth vernacular channel, said Raj Koneru, chairman of Indiainfo.com, in a statement here. The channel, aimed at the Gujarati diaspora around the globe, features business, sports, happenings in America and a `Mansai Na Deewa' section that chronicles the social work and charity activities of individuals and organizations.
People from various regions of Gujarat or those who have an interest in regions such as Saurashtra, Charottar and Kutch, can now get the latest on the socio-cultural, political and economic developments at the click of a button, he added.
