New Delhi, June 29, 2001 - Lycos India, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lycos Asia, has formed a strategic partnership with Indiainfo.com, a release issued here said on Friday.

The alliance is expected to bring a co-branded site offering rich online content such as real-time breaking news, regional dailies and magazines, cinema updates, finance and e-greetings in their own languages.

Indiainfo will provide Lycos users with information in their own language. The languages available are Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.

In addition to the regular features users can now read their favourite magazine, check their horoscopes, get sports updates, matrimonial columns and e-greetings in their own language anywhere in the world on the Lycos India site.
